How to use s-video on Dell XPS m140

I have the Dell XPS m140 and i'm tryin to use my S-Video. I plug one end into the PC and the other end into TV and restart pc but nothing shows on tv pc dont even pick new hardware can someone help me please

Try key combo Fn+F10 to switch video from your laptop lcd to tv screen.
