Comment:

I recently got my hands on an omnibook hp xe2. I must have bought the wrong processor because it diffenrent.

433mhz intel celeron mobile processor
to a 933mhz intel celeron mobile processor

looking at the 433mhz its a SL3KB
THE OTHER is a SL5SU. OF 933HMHZ

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I GET THE RIGHT PROCESSOR TYPE FOR AN UPGRADE.

You're gonna have to somehow determine which CPUs are supported by the motherboard/chipset. That means searching the HP website and/or using google.

In the meantime, add more RAM.

Good advice from jam. Without determining which CPUs are supported, you don't know if the CPU can even be upgraded.

More RAM may be the only upgrade possible.
