How to Uninstall Windows XP

I would like uninstall windows xp from my IBM thinkpad and install wimdows 98. I 've had to many problems with the xp. Please help!!!! ASAP!

If the product disk for your Thinkpad is Windows 98, use it to install Win98. Everything on the hard drive will be overwritten with the 98 OS. Otherwise,boot from your Win98 floppy and run fdisk. Delete the NTFS partition. Create a new FAT32 partition. Format the HD and install Win98.
