I want to uninstall a program called "Inbox Protector" and it is a plug in. I did uninstall the program but I think that some part of it still remains.

It was a very good program but in the last 2-3 months, I had tech problems. Their on line help is worthless and they do not respond to emails to their advertised "tech support".

If you are thinking about buying this one, I would suggest that you forget it until they honor their "tech support" promises. It won't do you much good if it won't run and you can't get help.

What are we talking about?? Outlook?? Outlook Express?? What??

No Problem, to disable the plugin in OL, click tools/options/other/advanced options/add in manager, uncheck it. Also check com add ins. To completely uninstall it you'll need to search the system registry for what parts were left behind, often in HKey Local Machine/software/microsoft/office/9.0/outlook, there maybe a subkey called addins or it may be located else where.
