I have WindowsXP SP3 w/MCE2005 . According to all the info I read on why my TV Guide wont update says removing /uninstalling .NET Framework 4 would fix the problem ? I cannot find it in the control panel ADD/REMOVE Programs. I do not want to uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework ,only ver4 ? Can someone walk me thru how to manually uninstall this ver. of the .NET Framework app. (ver4) From post I have read as soon as this is uninstalled the ability to update your TV Guide in the Media Center returns . This bug should have been fixed by Microsoft ,yea right ! anyway thanks to all that can help me with this problem !

.Net Framework should be listed in Add/Remove Programs as "Microsoft .Net Framework 4*". If it's not, it wasn't properly installed, or there are other problems with the system..

Reinstall .Net Framework 4, then attempt to uninstall it, IF the problem persists. If this fails, there are more direct/drastic methods to fix the problem.

It's a good day when you learn something
