How to uninstall msn messenger

CPU/Ram: AMD 1800/512

I tried to uninstall msn messenger version 4.7 from my windows XP. I went to contol panel, then add/remove programs, but I could not find msn messenger in the box. So how are I supposed to remove msn messenger from my windows XP? Thanks.

Try the 2nd and 3rd in this list:

http://computing.net/cgi-bin/AT-search.cgi or if that doesn't work, use the search function at the top of this page and type in uninstall MSN messenger and search in the XP forum. There are quite a few threads on that subject.

There's no need to delete MSN Messenger from your computer. If you don't use that program then leave it alone. But if you really insist, click here and then right click on 'Messenger', click on 'Delete' and confirm with 'Yes'.
