How do you uninstall InCD?
If you got to control panel>add remove and try to uninstall it says it's in use. But as far as I can tell it isn't.
InCD dosen't appear in the program menu, so I can't unistall it that way or even disable it. The reason I want to remove it is that If I put a CD-RW InCD starts up. If I then try and use nero 6, I can't as it says "InCD currently accesses one or more recorders. Please eject these CDs and then restart Nero".
Anyone help!!!

The .exe file you used to install InCD with will also uninstall it. Run the exe agin and read all the alerts as they appear. The option to uninstall will appear.
If you right click the small icon on the start bar and select "Options" you can disable InCD form starting when you insert a blank RW disk.

If I right click the InCD icon in the start bar there is only 3 options:
Properties (P)
Format (F)
Version Information (A)If I use msconfig to stop it running at start up, will it be using system memory in the background.
I really want to unistall it but I can't fibd the CD. Is there another way?

OK you must be using version three but the uninstall information is the same. I am at work at present but when I'm at home tonight I'll check on my version 3 which I have on another drive.
Call back.

Brett...I checked version three and there is no facility to stop InCD loading when a fresh RW is inserted but it apparantly does this by default. Simply close the alert when it appears and use the disk as you wish. It just means that you are given the opportunity to convert the disk to InCD if you wish.
Because you are using Nero 6 I would advise that you update to InCD 4. This version allows you to do all your formatting etc from within XP. I have that combination and it works perfectly
