Comment:

I just bought a bigger and faster harddisk. I would like to transfer all files on my current XP system to the new harddisk and later put the new harddisk as the System Drive (Drive C:).

Can someone tell me how to do it?

Many thanks
George

Get a copy of symantec ghost 7.0 . It will do a COMPLETE disk clone for you.

An excellent tutorial link can be found here.

Install the new HD as your new C or Boot. Make it a master. Make your old HD a slave. Start the computer with ur XP cd in the drive and install as usual. Then u can drag and drop whatever u want between your two drives.
