I installed WinDVD in order to watch my movies, and configured it to autoplay when a disk is inserted. However, on inserting a disk for the first time to terst it, i also got the XP pop up box asking me what i wanted to do with the inserted disk. I ticked the "always do this" box but instead of then clicking the "take no action" box, i accidentally clicked the "ok" box and Windows Media Player was already highlighted by default! So, now when i insert a DVD, both WinDVD and Media Player run. Basically, how on earth do i stop WMP from running? Is there any way of geting the XP playback opions box back when i insert a DVD so that i can remove WMP from auorunning on insertion of a DVD?

Open My Computer, right click the dvd drive, select properties, click autoplay.
