i am using windows vista but i want to install windows xp now.i tried to install win xp on my system through win xp sp2 CD. when i insert cd it ask press any key to bot from cd i pressed a key then setup starts loading files. after this the blue screen shows at the "windows is starting setup" and the screen freezes. Can anyone tell me how i can get rid off it and be able to install win xp properly. I have desktop with Intel origional 945GCNL motherboard and Intel core 2 duo processor.
please help me.................

this is not of my use dear..
i did whatever these link mentions but my windows setut is getting freezed after loading of drivers and files in the starting phase of win xp installation.

... ok sweetie maybe you need sata drivers?

... during the "set-up" ...it will prompt you for the sata drivers
... you have to press "F6" ...
... is that correct ?

it shows press F6 if u want third party instalation....
and the process continues after that it shows installing the drivers............ drivers installed . upto this everything is ok and all this is by xp cd only .......
now on blue screen it show on
top Window setup and in bottom setup is starting windows
here screen freezez nothing happens.. again i m trying to install by rebootting the system;;
again sam ething happens........
i am fade off..................
any one please help
