How to share emails on home network??

Hello all,
I have an Internet gateway pc (using ADSL router) which provides the Internet connection to 4 other PC's at home.
All the computer users at my place have their own Hotmail address, and use Outlook Express to retrieve their email.
The problem is... whenever someone retrieves email from PC1, they later go to PC2 and cannot see it (as the email is copied from the Hotmail server to the local PC hard disk).
How can I go about setting up a email server on my XP Internet gateway? What do I need to do? Any suggestions on the best software to do this would be much appreciated.

the simplest way is all isps have webmail if they check from webmail without opening oe and downloading the mail it will still be available till they choose to delete it.
in other words leave it on the isp mail server and delete when read and no longer needed,if they want to save it, open up oe and save it in oe , but then of course its only on that one machine.
