How to share DSL with Win 98/XP

I would like to share my DSL connection between a Win 98 and XP computer. Both have NIC's and I have a length of CAT 5 cable. What do I need to do to share DSL with both of them. What do I need to set up in Win98 and XP to accomplish this?

Best bet buy a router with nat software built in and use dhcp to configure. I would recommend linksys very simple to use and comes with own setup disk.

Apart from the benefits of a NAT firewall, a router will also enable the 'client' machine to access the internet without relying on the 'host' (internet connected) machine being switched on.
But if u want a cheap, kwik way to setup, then it's as easy as 1, 2, 3.....
1) Connect ur XP machine to the internet 2) Connect ur machines together with a 'crossover' cable (not regular Cat5) 3) Go through XP's ICS wizard to network/share the internet (elect to make a floppy and run that on the Win98 machine)
GoodLuck
