I have connected two computers to Network. They both are Dell. One is Dell Pentium 3 and the other is Pentium 4. I am with ISP xtra. Both operates fine with internet because I use ADSL Router. I receive e-mails on one computer but not on the other.I want to view the e-mails on the other computer as well but got no idea how to set it up. Is there anybody who could help please. Many thanks.

Why e-mail? Why not use the simplier Net Send Command?

Don't see how netsend is going to help with Emails.

In order to view Emails on both computers you need to have your Email client like Outlook installed and configured on both computers. Configure your email client to leave the emails on the server and to delete them after a certain period.

That way when you run your email client it will download all emails.

Many thanks for your reply. Please accept my sincere thanks for replying so quickly. I am getting bit happy. Can you please now tell me in detail step by step how I can set my computer. There is no problem with one of the computer because I am getting my e-mail perfectly. It is only the new computer which I connected to network which is not receiving the e-mails. Waiting badly to hear from both of you. Many thanks.Regards.

I don't really understand the question. Why not use a generic email address like Yahoo or gmail? That way, no matter how many times you change ISP's, your e-mail will stay the same. Spam control is pretty good also. I myself don't recommend Hotmail....IMHO it's just too quirky.

This is the reason I NEVER use Outlook express any more. With the forementioned addresses you can get your e-mail from anywhere in the world with no hassle. I know, because I travel to different countries every year.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I cant tell you how to configure your computer as I don't use Outlook only Eudora.

You need to read the help files for Outlook, that will tell you how to set it up on the other computer to read Emails.

I use Eudora and can still pick up my Emails from anywhere in the World as my ISP which also provides the Email also provides a web based service as do most Email providers. At least they do in the UK.

I wouldn't touch Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail with a barge pole. They are all to quirky for my liking.
