How to scan ports?

Hi guys! Does anyone know I can see what tcp/ip ports that are open? I need this because I have ADSL with a cisco router and I have tried to open the ports GameSpy needs, but "netstat -a" doesn't show the ports I have opened via "set nat" in my router - so I was wondering if the ports really are open... How do I scan all active ports?

netstat -a will show you the ports that are open on your PC only. To see the open ports on your router, you need to probe them from the "outside". One way (only one I know) would be to point your browser to https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 and run a port check against your ip address. The NAT box appears to report closed ports as "stealth" and those open on the router but closed on your PC as "closed".
