The other night we had visitors. They bought over their brand new Acer Travelmate (not my preference). I created Acer XP recovery DVD for the same reason you are now asking. Have you done it at all in the past?

I have an Acer Aspire 1360

That is older than yours I think but it did come with a Recovery CD

Do you not have a Recovery CD ?

No Instructions in the Manual ?

Hi Lesley

FYI our visitors the other night told us the new Acer laptop came with no recovery CD other than useless new User instruction manual. I had to look up the info on Acer website which led me to create the Recovery DVD (1 disc in lieu of 4 CDs).
