ronadam February 7, 2012 at 12:43:14 Specs: Windows XP
I have a file in My Documents described as a video clip, 0KB. Name is v0000001.avi .Every time I click it an error message appears and the computer threatens to close down. Can find no way of removing it.(I'm not hugely computer literate!!) File appeared when I was messing about with Wisdom-Soft screen capture which I have since deleted from my computer.
As soon as I right click file a warning comes up "Windows has encountered a problem.......etc and will have to shut down". But this time it didn't, so I clicked on Properties - the file was not ticked Read Only. However I clicked on Advanced and un-checked "File ready for archiving" and hey presto I was able to delete it. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.
