how to remove old services?

in my services there is an service that is used to be an old program i have but i uninstalled it but its a service it started is still there, anyone know how to get rid of it? thanks

Hi w11184. I have used RegCleaner, version 4.3; it is very easy to use, and will search all around for old entries. You can also enter a search mode, and search out a particular entry. It also allows you to make back-ups, in case you muck it up, by mistake. The addy is above, in case you're interested. Hope this helps you out a little! ~Tommyo
