my notebook got sth wrong, very very slow reaction in operation. Could you please tell me what is the possible reason?
Also, I may want to reinstall xp on c drive, but I have to keep my files on d drive, is it possible to do it?
I am waiting on line, thanks a lot for your help.

Hi June,

Do an Anti-Virus scan:
▫ [on-line] BitDefender Anti-Virus

And an Anti-Spyware scan with both:
▫ Spybot Search & Destroy (Safer Networking)
▫ Ad-aware (Lavasoft)
Keep in mind that you have to update them over the web first when started, and before zapping the baddies!

After doing the scans, post a HijackThis log on the Security & Virus forum. I'll look for it there.
