Here's my problem,i found out that somebody was taking over my computer as an administrator, then i went into safe mode and was able to delete the account(s),after a restart i was able to log in as the admin but all my personal settings and bookmarks were gone,i tried GetDataBack, but it found nothing?!

If System restore does not bring you joy, then try this MSKB 840001.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply and link XpUser.
I tried Sytem Restore but it can only go 2 days back and it was 3 days ago that everything worked :(
I also tried the link you posted, and i opened a dos window and typed in:

repadmin /options <recovery dc name> +DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL

But it says that no such thing exist,am i doing it alright?
And/or is there another way to do recover lost accounts?

HI Fletch19,

Running repadmin from the command prompt will not work because your OS does not have this feature. I just realized that MSKB 840001 will work only if you belong to a domain running by W2K or 2003 Server.

By the way, did you clicked Keep Files when you deleted the user account? If so, try this MSKB 313877. I hope this one will really help you.

Thanks again XpUser :)

THe first thing i did was a system restore for the 25th,the problem is it doesn't go longer back than the 25th and i need a system restore from the 24th :(

I realized that i first ran a copy of GetDataBack for NTSF,but my disk is FAT32,therefor it didn't find anything.
But it found all my deleted files in GetDataBack FAT32.
To start of,It found all my bookmarks in Bookmarks and in alphabeticle order in the trial version, then i bought it and my bookmarks etc. was scattered all over the place in GDB-FAT32?!?!

Do you have any idea what happened

Fletch19.
