how to rebuild my desktop

Hello there!

My brother just give me his old desktop with window xp pro before he 's out of state. I accidently deleted guest account (since there 're guest account and his.....) . There 's the only way 's log on his username which i don't have and he couldn't remember either. please help!!!! i don't mind pull components apart to "rebuild" since some people suggest....please help....:) I am willing to learn too. Thanks millions.....

Sorry but that is some information that we just don't give out to just anyone that loses their brother's password. If your brother is with you and all that then I sugest that you just do a complete restore or reformat/reinstall of the computer. We will not tell you how to find the password or how to get around it at this site.

If it were your password you forgot I'll tell ya.

But here's a great boot cd you may want..
http://ebcd.pcministry.com/

poke around there. If you know what your looking for then you'll find it. But be carefull, you can damage the OS and leave it in an unbootable state.

uhh is the administrator account locked? boot into safe mode with F8. if the administrator account is enabled and not locked, you can reset all passwords.

start--run-- "control userpasswords2"
