How to password protect shared folders?
I have turned on "advanced sharing optins" in folder options.. but it hasnt a option of setting the password for shared folders.. I have the built 2526 version..

One more info.. I installed it on FAT32.. Does that has something to do with it?

You don't 'password' protect your Share(s)[files/folders] you assign them a user or group which is 'granted' access to it or them. However, outside of the share itself, if you want file/folder permisions you Must convert your drive to the NTFS file system. Hope this Helps, Mike

I am having the same problem as Tore. My drive is NTFS. what should I do to grand access to a particular network (workgroup) computer ?
