How to open dbf files on Windows XP

How do I open a dbf file on Windows XP. I want to convert the dbf file into ascii format and upload it in oracle. Please guide me how can I do this.

If you do not have dbase or another database program, you can use a spreadsheet program and open or import it.

I use excel sometimes for this purpose but Quattro Pro or Lotus 1-2-3 and others will also do it.

From there, you can save it to another file format.
