How to open a file from My Pictures Slideshow in XP - requires a custom-made patch that I saw once but can't google-up again after hours of trying today.

Open your pictures with Windows and Picture and Fax Viewer and press F11 to start the slide show.

Thanks for places to look guys. Didn't find anything about patch or bat files to (control + ) open JPGs from screensaver (My Pictures Slide Show) in Windows XP. Next best thing however is do a Print Scrn pasting to MS Paint for another JPG. Cheers.

The My Pictures Slideshow does not contain your pictures, it just shows the pictures in a folder you directed it to. So right click on the desktop, go to Properties, click on the screensaver tab and look at the slideshow properties. It will show you what folder your pictures are in. No need to take a screenshot of a picture you already have.
