How are you trying to view it? Use Windows Explorer while in WinXP. If the disk is a program or installation disk you may not be able to view.

Provide more information for a better answer.

Hold down Ctrl as the door closes and keep it down for twenty seconds or so to prevent autorun start up. Once the autorun has been stopped there is no need to keep Ctrl down. Then you can access the CD with windows explorer if that is your intention -- which isn't clear to me at all.

Response #2 shows you how to see what files are on the CD. To help further we need to know what sort of things are on the CD, program, data, music, pictures or whatever.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Yeah, the 95 disk will autostart. Another way to view the contents is to close the window when it opens. Then from 'my computer' right click on the optical drive containing the disk and click 'explore'.
