Hi Can sum1 please help.
I have 20Gb hard-drive (compaq 5000 series) with 2 partitions. Win ME was installed on C:(16Gb) partition. I wanted to free up space on C: drive in addition to upgrading to XP. I was trying to install XP on C:\ but managed to install completely new installation on D:\(4Gb) partition. After XP installed on D:\ i deleted all files on C: (trying to free up space as 1Gb out of 16Gb was all that was available on this drive)
Problem is that i now have a C: drive 16Gb that i cant access as everything was deleted. (Although properties states that 2.5gb is being used). I cant log on to it, format it, or install XP onto it. Secondly the D:\ partition (4gb) does boot up to XP but i cant do much as there is not enough space available to install anything else.
Please help. Ideal would be to some how move XP from second smaller partition to the bigger C:\ partition. How can i fix this? Thanks
