can .. but u need to partition a part off your h/d for dos programs . when installing xp for first time . or install another h/d and use that for ms dos programes . i have to get ms dos programes working also as i miss Quake World . :)

Boot your system from floppy disk. Simple as that. You can use multipartition/ multiboot if you want to complicate.
