You'd have to know more about the file. (you could have told us what OS it was) It used to be that a .bin was binary. (apple mac used it alot) Burn at track one and see.

I'd use a virtual machine at try to boot the virtual machine from that file first.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

What you have is an image file (similar to an "iso" file).

Most CD-burning software packages will read/burn "bin" files to a bootable CD (Nero, for example). Sometimes there is also a "cue" file associated to the "bin" file.

Open your CD-burn program, and look for "Burn CD from an image" -- or words to that effect, and select your BIN file.

There are also a multitude of programs (some of them freeware) that can read, and even edit such files (ISO, but also many similar formats). Google is your friend, as the saying goes.

it is an image file because when i load it to daemon all the files pop up. Problem is when i try to make a bootable file the computer doesn't recognize it. The closest i got to make it bootable was having the screen flash and then it saying this file was missing. But it wasn't because i went through the whole cd and it had everything it needed. Just dont know how to burn it correctly. Thanks for the reply guys
