I know how to make a boot disk in 98 thru the add/remove programs, but now I have XP and there isn't a "Startup Disk" tab in the add and remove programs anymore. I want to make a boot disk and put "F disk" on it so I can clear a friends computer of Me. Any help would be appreciated.

Put a disk in the "A" drive

Right click "Format"

Click "Make an MS Dos Disk"

You're done.

I use a Win 98 boot disk, Windows XP will not make a boot disk or a DOS disk, I tried and when I use it, it says "invaled disk", I made it from windows XP recovery disk, I even tried what Cliff mentioned, that failed also, I gave up and used the windows 98 boot disk I had made from an older computer with win 98 on it.
It works good.
My computer is a Compaq 5300US with a celeron 1.1 ghz, 512mb sdram and "Windows XP home" .===
