how to locate downloads saved to disk via Firefox browser

January 16, 2012 at 16:43:56
Specs: Windows XP
I have several items in "download". One, a newsletter, I want to print. I can't find how to bring up the items. Looked at Downloads, in my Browser, those are not the same. Those, are the installed to my PC, downloads. Using Firefox, if it matters. Thanks.

The "Downloads" window in Firefox is not an actual folder, it's just a manager.
You need to find out where Firefox has saved your downloads to:

Open Firefox.
Click Options, then click the "General" tab.
In the "Downloads" section, click the "Browse" button.
The folder where your downloads are saved should be highlighted, but you won't be able to open it there.

Make a note of it's location, then open Windows Explorer and navigate to that same folder.

Thanks "PIP22"; taken me awhile to get back to this. I don't seem to have Windows Explorer. Followed along, up to that point; actually had this earlier, & the Downloads, show as being in " My Documents". When I open that [& may be in Firefox], it only gives me the Downloads, that are installed, in my PC. What I'm trying to find, are the Downloads, such as a movie, video, & the letter from my e-mail, downloaded as PDA
[I think=pda/pdf/thing!]
