|I need to install xp to a laptop that dosent support usb boot, and has no internal cd rom, or floppy. It does however support network boot, but I have no win server version to install from network. Can I make a bootable dos/NT partition that will find usb cdrom via external ide to usb encloser and transfer disk internal to laptop?|
laptop is dell c610
2 ghz intel m
80 gig hdd
usb 24x cdrom (not bootable via bios)
no usb boot support
In other words how can I make partition 1 win boot disk to get to usb cdrom, then install xp from cd to partition 2?
