If it came with Vista i suggest you look for the drivers first, just to make sure you will have the drivers you need for Xp, then, if thats the case, Boot from Cd (XP installation CD), maybe it will not recognize the HD, you will have to get the drivers of your SATA, then do installation press F6 to install new RAID/SATA drivers, then continue with installation. or use nlite to add the drivers to you XP installation Cd
