Hi guys once again. I have just recently bought Acer Aspire One, and i would like to reinstall windows Xp, however the netbook doesn't have a CD-ROM, and i have no idea how to do it without one. Maybe there is a way to do it with flashdrive, or mmc card, or something else? Please give me a hand on that one. Thank you very much.

Yep, google gave me this site as first hit;

Point is that there is more than one way to skin a cat.
Why don't you just buy an external usb cd and use it for lots of things? Does your acer support booting from a usb cd-rom drive?
Skip

well i know it is easy to just go and buy external usb CD-ROM , but it costs a lot of money, so i decided to do it without purchesing one. I have heard that you can set up windows on a flash drive, but i don't know how to check wether my notebook will boot from usb flash.

yu check through your boot menu, but anyway...

cuments/Acer%20eRecovery%20Management.pdfthis is the recovery maual for the aspire one.
It will explain the process, the
files are already on the compyter.good luck

You could also net boot and load it from either a shared folder or shared drive on another machine. See barts network boot disk.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
