I downloaded Lame MP3 Codec and I have SoloH Mpeg Encoder which I heard was good. The problem is that there is no instructions how to install the codec. I´m pretty new to this so bnear with me. How do I install it so the SoloH uses it and no other codec on my computer ?

just copt lame.dll file to the same directory as your mp3 ripper program.....in the mp3 program is should allow you under options or some place what mp3 codex to use.
I like the mp3 ripper audiocrusher its free easy to use and has built in free cddb cd data base. it uses what ever mp3 dll you have and would like to use, just copy it to the audicrusher directory ,audio crusher displayes all the mp3 .dlls you have placed in its directory and the features that are availible. get audicrusher at... http://www.sysdesk.de/
it works with xp and you don't need to install an aspi layer!
Summary: Joe Tech, Might not be the simplest way but not so difficult. Partition Magic has a walk thru on how to install the 2nd OS. 1st- install the OS then Partition Magic program then look up the options......
