i think the only thing you can do is check the box, "hide all microsoft services". doing this will hide only the microsoft services. open msconfig and click on services, then check the box.
there might be another way, i just don't know it yet. i've never tried to hide anything before.

There is no options in Windows XP to hide services.

are you using xp home or pro? i have pro and the only services i can hide from the msconfig services dialog, are the programs from microsoft only. don't know if it's an xp pro feature or not. other than that, like xpuser said, there is no other way. thanks!
