Does anyone know if it is possible to hide processes in Windows Task Manager?
I have 2 processes which I would like to keep running in the background, but do not want them to show up in the process list when one CTL+ALT+DEL.

I should have explained the reason more clearer. Task manager does not give us the options to hide/unhide running processes. If secrecy is important to you, lock your room.

I use a program called " Don't Panic" http://www.panicware.com/product_dp.html
It gives you options to hide certain windows or shut them down completely. It has an electronic spot on your screen or you can just hit control space to hide what window or windows you want hidden. Then hit control backspace to unhide them.It takes a bit getting used to but it works quiet well.I use it all the time at work because i leave my computer unattended a good bit.I can leace certain process running and no one knows.

In Task Manager, click another tab, other than the Process tab. Now double click in the left or right hand margin area, just on inside edge of the window, and all the tabs will be gone.
How about that one, XpUser ???
