Is there a way to hide an application from appearing in the "add or remove program" list on windows XP?
I am not talking about hiding a folder in the windows explorer.

Why on earth would you want to do that. The only reason I can think of is that you want to disguise that fact that a particular application is installed and to me that sounds a bit fishy.

You can rename or delete the entry with Ccleaner:

When you've installed Ccleaner, click "Tools" in the left pane and you should see the uninstall list.

Yes the Ccleaner is great. It does exactly what I need.
As for the reason, I simply use a shared computer and have administrative rights for it but I dont want everybody to know what I use. I expect to get answers about technicality in this forum not about morality.
