Specs: Windows XP
When ever I startup my computer I get two messages "xupw.pdo" and "c:windows\mcrcelvi.dll", and my computer is running slow. Sometimes none of the programs would open and I don't know if these messages are causing it.

Both files are linked to malware - Xupw is a Trojan and the .dll is a random filename, associated to malware. If the messages you are getting say that the files are missing then that's a good sign because it means your security program has removed them but the links to the files are still in your startup. So first, do a full scan with whatever security program you have, then use CCleaner to remove the errant startup items and also do a spring-clean on your system.
