How do I get that little bar which displays the status of connection on the bottom of I-Explorer? I seemed to have lost it somehow.

IE6 shows the status bar only the first time you open the application. If you want subsequent windows to have status bar, you can do the following to achieve it:

Open Windows Explorer and enable status bar. Then goto Folder Options and 'Make All folders look like this folder'. Restart the browser.

Hope this helps.
