Friends Usually when need to get a screen shot of the desktop on my PC just press on (Prt Scrn) then open word and paste it,
But I can’t do it on my Laptop HP Compaq, OS: wind XP 2002, SP2, I tried to press on (prt sc + alt) and I tried to press the key (prt sc) alone twice but it doesn’t work, does it need special software? Or a different functions to do it?Any solution I will appreciate,
... <F11> (full screen) open graphics program like "paint" after <prt sc> ... to edit (tab) option "paste"

it dosent work... I pressed (F11 + prt sc) but didnt work !
... one <key> @ a time ... <F11> for full screen
... <prt sc> for print screen
... then open "paint" .... to edit (tab)
... then click "paste"
... file (tab) ... save as....

i have tried work, and paint as all, still dosent work, thanks for all ur efforts anyway,
If the PrintScreen doesn't work, maybe it's a clipboard issue. Can you use clipboard for anything else? LIR
