Solved how to fix you tube downloads

April 25, 2015 at 10:37:52
Specs: Windows NT 4 32 BIT
I cannot watch videos from You Tube, altho I have Java, Adobe reader, and shockware installed. It does not matter if I try and then wait and try again.. Videos just will not play, altho they act like they want to. All the message ever says is try again later.. do I need a different browser ? I am using
microsoft IE Build 8.0..6001
and also I am using NT 4 32 BIT Windows.
What could be the matter, I also tried chronium. Nothing works. It used to work a long time ago I have windows XP.

As I understand it,,,Microsoft wants to gouge as much money out of us as they can and then discontinue support for their product. Ex: Windows XP older versions. so now your operating system is now useless. and your going to have to cough up more money so The Gates family can sail much further on their Yacht
have a good day..

YouTube are now using Html5 rather than flash. Not sure but that might have some bearing on it when using NT. If you google around there are some html5 tests you could try.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Try Firefox or Chrome. IE is not a good browser as my experience.

Old, Well it is not entirely useless. I know a few tricks to keep it running and most of that involves keep as much pile up of cookies and cache cleared up. What you say is true.. it is almost like being hooked on a drug and then paying all you got to get more.
Bill says he gives a lot of money to charities and such. But he should not destroy what us older people enjoy and take all of our money, it just isn't right.

btw I hate chrome and google and IE.. they are all horrible choices.
