Greetings! I have done a clean install of Windows in the past, but didn't write down the serial number from each individual installation. I have done about six installs in the past, and have six Xp boxes gathering dust! Is there a way to find out which serial was used on which computer? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is a way to find out the serial of windows, ms office and some other software installed on a pc.
The program you need is Belarc.
A small browser based tool that checks whether all Microsoft updates are installed, gives an overview of all installed software, hardware and patches and shows the serial of the installed software.
And the best, it's free !
Here is the link:
http://www.belarc.de/free_download....
The link per has provided to SIW is a more current utility that provides more comprehensive info than Belarc, Aida or Everest.
I don't think the new version of belarc shows the serial numbers. I may be wrong though. Keyboard not detected. Hit F1 to Continue. BREAKFAST.SYS HALTED Cerial port not Responding!!
How about: Start -> Help & Support -> Tools
-> My Computer Information -> View general information about this computer
@ChristopherTGarrett I'm using the actual version and it shows the serial numbers.
Keyfinder works well too. Life's more painless for the brainless.
My suggestion in Response # 6 produces a Product ID (PID) #, but apparently not the Product License Key. The program Keyfinder recommended by Jennifer SUMN does work well.
Thanks everyone! I have tried ALL of the suggestions, and they all worked well. Many thanks for taking the time to give your inputs!!!
