Could someone tell me how I am to find out what my volume(disk) serial number is? I need to give that to my employeer so I can get a license for their software.

Thanks!

go to the start button...lower left. Select 'all programs' then 'accessories' then 'command prompt'. The enter 'dir /p' and you should see the serial number at the top of the list. Press spacebar or any other key until listing is finished. To return to windows type 'exit' and press enter
