Go to Start->Run and type in cmd. Then type in ipconfig/all
That should show the ip.
Hope that helps.
Kevin.

Kevin just showed you how to do it, but I am also wondering, you might not even need to konw it. Coz from what you saying, you are going to have a VPN where you have to dial up a certain number to connect. The XP wizard will walk you thro that with no problem.

OK. Im going to try to explain what I am trying to do. I have DSL internet service and I have a lucent dsl router modem that I am renting from my internet company. I have a dynamic IP address not static if it makes any difference. I have two computers connected to the dsl router at home one with Windows XP Home Edition and one with Windows XP Professional. I have the Remote Desktop Web Connection software installed on the XP Pro computer. I want to use the computer at the college (which by the way has Windows 2000 Pro installed) To remotely access my computer at home (the one with Windows XP Pro). How would I go about setting everything up? I hope I can get some help on this.
