|I need to know how to finalize a data cd in Windows XP. I don't have any other burning software installed. I have dragged and dropped several files into a writeable cd folder. Then I clicked on 'write these files to a cd' in the left pane. The files were written to the cd, the cd was ejected, then a box opened asking me if I was finished. The box opened after the cd was automatically ejected. I clicked FINISHED.|
Well, I look in properties, and it says that I still have some free space on the disc. Shouldn't it say that I have zero free space if the disc has been 'closed' (finalized)? If not, then I really need to know how to close the session, finalise the cd, etc. Like I say, I am just doing this stuff in windows explorer, not any special burning program.
Can anybody help?
