I have a compaq computer which has the SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio Soundcard. Compaq just realeased Version 3 of the sound card driver but it is in an EXE file which is an excutable. I have problem if I install it from the EXE but MUST have the .inf file and use Update Hardware in Device manager in order to install the driver properly or I will have static during audio playback. There is also alot of bloatware included which I do not want. Is there a programme that will extract the content of an *.EXE file?
