kpsu, Are you sure that you clicked on "Enable Registry Editing Tools" and NOT Disable then downloaded that reg file. It should work for Windows XP. Tufenuf
I followed instructions as follows ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Using the Group Policy Editor - For Windows XP ProfessionalDisableRegistryTools value corresponds to the Disable registry editing tools Group Policy
User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ System
Click Start, Run and type GPEDIT.MSC to launch the Group Policy Editor, and set the policy to Not Configured
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
There is no "DisableRegistryTools" in
User Configuration\administrative templates\systemany help
