How to disable U3 Launcher?

CPU/Ram: 1.8GHz/750MB
Manufacturer/Model: Lenovo/3000
Comment:

I'm trying to disable or rename the U3
launcher on my PNY USB flash drive. Tried
going to Command Prompt and doing an
attrib -r but access (to U3 Launcher) was
denied. Also checked Task Manager and it
appears U3 was not running.
Any suggestions as to how to disable U#
Launcher appreciated.
