Hi, i accidently installed 2 windows xp, and now i want to delete/uninstall one of them, how do i do this?
thanks in advance

Are they both on the same partition? If not, then run one of them and delete the other one. The folders 'Windows' 'Program Files' and 'Documents and Setting', present in the partion of the surplus xp should be deleted. The boot menu entry can be deleted from the C:\boot.ini file, though you'll have to remove the read-only atribute of the file first.

ok, i got it to delete but now everytime it starts, it asks for boot disk.
like everytime i start windows, it says, bootdisk failure, please insert boot disk.
then i put windows xp disk and restart, then the windows loads. i want to be able to load without the disk, any idea?

Did you by any chance delete the file Boot.ini?
Dewtea's instructions were to remove only the part of boot.ini that related to the second operating system. If you are missing boot.ini file then you can create another easily enough. If your operating system is installed in C drive being first partitiion on primary IDE channel then paste the following into notepad and save it as boot.ini in the root of your C drive. ie c:\boot.ini[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
