How to delete windows xp.....

On start up there are 2 selections, windows me or widnows xp, how can i delete the windows xp selection...?

Why do you want to do that? Do you still have XP installed? If you don't, then you may use a windows 98 bootdisk and boot from it. Then load it without the cdrom support. At the prompt, type in fdisk /mrb and hit enter. Restart (ctrl+alt+del) and take out the floppy. The boot selection screen should be gone now.

Sorry about that. At the prompt, type in fdisk /mbr, not mrb.

Or you can try this...
Right click My Computer. Go to Properties. Hit the Advanced Tab Go to Startup and Recovery
From here, you can select with operating system to load up. If you so choose, you can manually delete the OS you don't want booting from the boot.ini which is another option under Startup and Recovery.
