No that not work. I do not want to format my windows vista drive. I just want to delete Windows folder from G: how do i remove permissions from this folder so that i can easily delete folder. Also bootloader is not problem for me.

Can you not boot into XP, access the g: drive and then simply delete the (Vista) windows folder via XP Explorer?
Usually that's one way one gets rid of another OS's folder on a drive - without reformatting etc?

I can boot into XP but cannot delete folder because of NTFS security of folder applied automatically during installation.

It seems that you are sure that this is what you need/have to do! Google for a program called "unlocker". Install it in xp and use it to unlock the folder in vista.... You best know what you are doing when you do it as there is no forgiveness!

I think this is one of these times you have to take ownership of a file or folder when you are logged into XP.

Ownership does not work. Although i get ownership of top level directory but not for subfolders and files. I have to get the ownership of each subfolder one by one and it is long process. . And we know well that how many subfolders and files are in "Windows" directory of windows.
